OPPO Find X8 Ultra, codenamed Mount Everest: the highest peak in mobile imaging

blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that OPPO Find X8 Ultra is codenamed Mount Everest, suggesting that the phone will be the pinnacle of mobile phone imaging.

It is reported that OPPO Find X8 Ultra uses a 2K full-depth four-micro-curved screen, a rear dual periscope image, is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor, and has a built-in new generation of silicon-carbon negative electrode battery.

In terms of configuration, Find X8 Ultra continues the dual periscope strategy of the previous generation. It is the industry’s first Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition flagship equipped with dual periscope telephoto, and it is also the most radical imaging flagship in OPPO’s history.

At present, periscope telephoto has become a standard feature of high-end flagships. Compared with traditional upright telephoto solutions, the advantage of periscope telephoto lenses lies in long-distance shooting. Even within a range of dozens of times, it can capture the target and maintain good imaging effects.

OPPO has crammed in two periscope telephoto lenses at once. The advantage is that users do not have to be limited to choosing between a single lens in the 3x or 5x range, but can achieve smooth zoom in the range of 3x to 6x at the same time, providing greater creative freedom.

Previously, Find X7 Ultra and Find X8 Pro were equipped with dual periscope telephoto lenses. Taking OPPO Find X7 Ultra as an example, the phone supports 3x optical zoom and 6x optical zoom at the same time. It also pioneered the 135mm portrait close-up focal length for mobile imaging. This was the longest native periscope telephoto lens in the industry at the time, which allows for more creative composition and highlights the shooting subject in the simplest way to achieve more tense portrait shooting.

After nearly a year, Find X8 Ultra is about to debut, and it will be released after the Spring Festival.
