OPPO Night God is here! Find X8 Ultra night scene portrait samples released

OPPO Find X8 Ultra has been officially announced to be released on April 10. Previous leaks mentioned that the phone can be called the “Night God” and has made huge improvements in night scene shooting.

After the official announcement at the press conference, Zhou Yibao, head of OPPO Find series products, was the first to share night scene portrait samples, challenging the biggest challenge of mobile phone portrait photography – the double test of weak light + complex light sources.

At the same time, the official also took out the iPhone 16 Pro Max for comparison, which is simply a bit “unethical”.

From the sample photos, we can see that in the mixed light environment of the bar at night, the ambient light in the photos taken by the iPhone is dominant, the red light sign in the background turns orange, and the most important person has been dyed into a blue avatar.

The Find X8 Ultra first of all maximizes the sense of environmental atmosphere, but it is not contaminated by ambient light. The characters’ skin is delicate and each hair is distinct, which is clear and real, without any fake “computational sense” at all.

Zhou Yibao introduced that the core reason for the excellent performance of the sample photos is that Find X8 Ultra is equipped with the most powerful professional night scene portrait lens and the new Danxia original color lens, which can achieve partition detection of complex light sources, and the skin color performance is directly amazing.

This time, the Find X8 Ultra will be equipped with five rear cameras. The official has previously announced the lens module, and the overall specifications are very luxurious.

Including 1-inch Sony LYT900 main camera (50 million pixels), Sony IMX882 6x periscope telephoto (50 million pixels), Sony IMX906 3x periscope telephoto (50 million pixels), and 50 million pixel ultra-wide angle.

The last one was previously rumored to be a Hasselblad multispectral sensor, but it has now been officially unveiled and named “Danxia True Color Lens”.

Its function is similar to that of Huawei’s Red Maple lens, which is mainly to collect color information and perfectly restore true colors.
