OPPO Reno14 series returns to straight screen

It is reported that the previous generation OPPO Reno13 series adopts a hybrid form of equidistant micro-curved screen and straight screen. The standard version is a 6.59-inch 1.5K straight screen, and the Pro version is a 6.83-inch 1.5K equidistant micro-curved screen. The entire series is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip.

According to the data, the micro-curved screen was once a symbol of high-end flagships. Now, companies are beginning to return to straight screens. The next OPPO Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, Find X8s+, Reno14 series, etc. to be released are all straight-screen.

OPPO’s Zhou Yibao said that the biggest advantage of the curved screen is its rounded feel. In comparison, the advantages of the straight screen are more obvious.
