Many smartphone manufacturers, especially Apple, often highlight how their devices can be used to shoot full-length films. Following this trend, Oppo has released a short film in China that was shot entirely on its newest flagship phone, the Find X9 Pro, which became available in October.
The Oppo Find X9 Pro comes with 512GB of internal storage and 16GB of RAM. It is currently available for €1,299.00 or £889.97 as a special deal.
The short film called The One Who Stole Time. It was co-written by director Yang Lina and screenwriter Qiu Yujie. The film examines the emotional pressures and family dilemmas faced by young adults in modern society. The story uses “stealing time” as a metaphor for these challenges. We’ve embedded the film below for your convenience, but please note that it is in Chinese, as it was primarily intended for viewers in China.
Even if you don’t understand the language, you can still enjoy and appreciate the impressive video recording quality of the Find X9 Pro. The film’s central message is that the present is all we really possess, and it encourages viewers to make choices that reflect their genuine selves, whatever that may mean for each individual.
