Pura 80 series will be released in May: more attractive pricing

According to leaked information, Huawei’s Pura 80 series includes four models: Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro, Pura 80 Pro+ and Pura 80 Ultra, among which the Ultra version has the most powerful imaging.

Specifically, Huawei Pura 80 Ultra is expected to be the first domestically produced 1-inch super-large main camera. The telephoto lens adopts a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch super-large solution, and is also supported by a new RYYB array, which will greatly upgrade the amount of light entering.

In addition to Ultra, Pura 80 Pro+ has also been upgraded to a 1-inch large-bottom main camera, using Sony’s 50-megapixel IMX989, which is also a customized RYYB array. The amount of light entering will be greatly improved compared to the previous generation.

In terms of screen, the standard version of Huawei Pura 80 will be equipped with a 1.5K straight screen, while the Pura 80 Pro series and above models will use a full-depth micro-curved screen, and the Ultra version may also be equipped with a double-layer OLED screen. Through the superposition of two layers of light-emitting units, the screen brightness, contrast and color performance will be greatly improved.

In addition, the Huawei Pura 80 series is equipped with the new native Hongmeng system. This system is based on the Hongmeng kernel and has achieved completely independent research and development from the operating system kernel, file system to programming language, AI framework and large models. This is my country’s first domestically produced mobile operating system and the world’s third largest mobile operating system after Apple’s iOS and Android.

The phone will be officially released in May.
