The Redmi A series, known for being the most accessible smartphone line, is set to introduce its latest model, the Redmi A3. Priced around 500 yuan or $70, previous models like the A1 and A2 have supported features such as Wi-Fi 6 and fingerprint recognition, offering significant value.
The upcoming Redmi A3 is expected to feature a 6.71-inch LCD screen, an increase from the previous 6.52-inch display, with an HD+ resolution (1600×720 pixels). Most notably, the A3 will support a 90Hz refresh rate, a first for the series, offering smoother screen performance than even the iPhone 15.
Powered by a MediaTek chipset, the Redmi A3 will come with 4GB of RAM, support for 4GB of virtual memory expansion, 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, and microSD card expansion for additional storage.
Measuring 76.75×164.9×9.09mm and weighing 192 grams, the Redmi A3 will support dual SIM cards, 4G, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. It will also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C charging port, rounding off its comprehensive connectivity options.
