Following the Spring Festival, Xiaomi’s Wang Teng hinted at new product releases from Redmi, including the Redmi G gaming laptop and the Redmi Note 13 Turbo performance smartphone. The Redmi Note 13 Turbo is set to debut with Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 7 series chip to date, potentially named the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3.
This new chipset, the Qualcomm SM7675, is built on TSMC’s 4nm process and features a tri-cluster architecture similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It includes a Cortex-X4 super core, Cortex-A720 big cores, and Cortex-A520 little cores, along with an Adreno 732 GPU. This combination is expected to deliver AnTuTu benchmark scores close to 1.7 million, nearing the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo
Last year’s Redmi Note 12 Turbo was equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, and leaks suggest that this year’s Redmi Note 13 Turbo will see a significant performance upgrade, making it the most powerful model in the Redmi Note series to date.
