REDMI enters the fan market! The REDMI K90 Ultra features an active cooling fan.

REDMI will launch the K90 Ultra in the middle of this year. According to the blogger Digital Chat Station, the K90 Ultra features a 1.5K ultra-high refresh rate flat screen and is the first to use an active cooling fan located inside the camera deco, supporting IP68 dust and water resistance.

Previously, the gaming phone brand Red Magic had always insisted on using fan cooling. Starting in 2025, OPPO and Honor successively entered the fan cooling market. The iQOO 15 Ultra and REDMI K90 Ultra, which will be released this year, will also follow suit with fans. It is foreseeable that active cooling fans will be a new trend in the mobile phone industry.

In recent years, mobile phone screen refresh rates have been continuously improving, and large-scale 3D games have emerged one after another in the mobile market. Relying solely on passive heat dissipation such as VC heat sinks and graphite sheets is no longer sufficient to improve heat dissipation efficiency.
