The iconic Starry Orange color is gone! Four new colors for the iPhone 18 Pro are now available

Fast Technology reported that a blogger shared photos of the iPhone 18 Pro’s camera cover on social media. Based on the four different colored covers shown, the new phone will offer four options: black, silver, burgundy, and blue.

This means that the highly anticipated classic color, Starry Orange, will officially be bidding farewell to the previous generation. Burgundy is expected to become the core color of the iPhone 18 Pro series, and with its unique sense of luxury, this new color is very likely to become the next market sensation.

Compared to the vibrant and eye-catching Starry Orange, burgundy has a deeper and more understated overall feel. It presents a sense of understated luxury, and although it is not as visually striking as orange, it still has a high degree of recognizability under different lighting conditions.

Regarding pricing, industry experts generally predict that the iPhone 18 Pro will maintain the starting price of its predecessor. If this is true, the entry-level price for the series will remain at 8999 yuan. Given the current significant increase in global memory component prices, this pricing strategy appears highly competitive.

Apple’s business logic lies in precisely locking in its core user group through a stable pricing strategy. Once hardware shipments are secured, the subsequent revenue from internet services and subscriptions is sufficient to offset the profit margins lost due to rising hardware costs.

This is not just a competition of hardware specifications, but also a deep battle for Apple’s ecosystem niche. By maintaining its starting price, Apple can continue to expand its user base in the fierce market competition and further consolidate its dominance in the high-end smartphone market.
