Sony’s next-generation high-end flagship Xperia 1 VIII has officially received FCC certification, with the device model number PY7-30515Z.
Unlike all other mainstream flagship phones currently on the market, the Sony Xperia 1 VIII retains the extremely rare 3.5mm headphone jack. This means it will be the only high-end flagship phone on the market in 2026 to feature this interface.
Since Apple removed the headphone jack from the iPhone 7, global mobile phone manufacturers seem to have reached a tacit agreement, successively cutting off this physical interface.
