The REDMI K90 Ultra is here – Xiaomi’s first air-cooled flagship.

REDMI K90 Ultra has recently passed 3C certification and is expected to be released this month.

Today, Wei Siqi, General Manager of Xiaomi China Marketing Department, posted on Weibo about a new Xiaomi phone. As expected, this is the upcoming REDMI K90 Ultra, which will be Xiaomi’s first model equipped with an active cooling fan.

Compared to traditional passive cooling solutions, built-in fans have a significant advantage in heat dissipation efficiency, and can continuously deliver more stable performance output under high load scenarios.

Meanwhile, the fan is also expected to automatically turn on based on high-temperature environments or gaming scenarios, achieving intelligent adjustment and a better balance between performance and power consumption.

In terms of core configuration, the REDMI K90 Ultra is equipped with the Dimensity 9500 chip, which is built on TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process. Compared with the previous generation, its single-core performance is improved by about 32% and its multi-core performance is improved by about 17%.

The new phone has a built-in 8500mAh super-large battery and supports 100W wired fast charging, which can balance long battery life and fast charging capability even in heavy use scenarios.

It should be noted that due to the continued sharp rise in the prices of key components such as global memory chips, the price of the REDMI K90 Ultra may also be increased.

Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, previously stated that the price increase of memory in this round was indeed far beyond expectations, with the price of the same version of memory soaring nearly four times compared to Q1 of last year.

Among them, the 12+512GB version has increased by about 1,500 yuan, and the 16+1T version has increased even more ridiculously, which has had a great impact on REDMI, which has always been priced with extreme cost performance.

Overall, the REDMI K90 Ultra has achieved significant upgrades in heat dissipation, performance release, and battery life. However, under cost pressure, its pricing strategy may become a major highlight of the launch event.
