vivo officially announced that the entire S60 series will come standard with 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition!

The new generation of vivo S60 series is now available for pre-order on vivo’s official website and other platforms.

Although the specific release date has not yet been announced, the new phone has already entered the pre-launch phase.

Following his introduction of the S60 series’ design and portrait capabilities, vivo product manager Han Boxiao today shared his experience using the new phone.

The vivo S60 series will support 3D ultrasonic fingerprint 2.0. Han Boxiao said that the highly praised flagship configuration of the previous generation will be retained in this generation, and the S60 series is also the only model in the same price range to have 3D ultrasonic fingerprint as standard across the entire series.

Compared to ordinary optical fingerprint scanners, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanners offer a more stable experience in scenarios such as wet hands and low light.

For example, when you go to the beach in the summer, your fingers will inevitably get wet. Ordinary fingerprints often require you to repeatedly dry your fingers to unlock, while 3D ultrasonic fingerprints can unlock quickly with wet hands.

In low-light environments, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensors won’t suddenly light up the screen and glare like ordinary optical fingerprint sensors, making the unlocking experience more natural when using the phone at night.

In terms of battery life, the entire vivo S60 series comes standard with a 7200mAh ultra-thin blue ocean battery, supporting 90W super flash charging and global direct drive power supply, balancing a large battery and fast charging experience.

In addition, the new device also supports the Micro Battery Wizard function, which automatically turns on when the battery is about to run out. After plugging in the power, it can quickly resume the previous task status, further alleviating battery anxiety.

In terms of other features, the vivo S60 series will also be equipped with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, stereo dual speakers, infrared remote control, X-axis linear motor, etc., providing a relatively complete basic experience.
