Vivo S18 Is Best For Gaming Experience: Performance Benchmarks Reveals

The Vivo S18 series, known for its portrait photography capabilities, has recently undergone a performance test, particularly focusing on the standard version equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 7 chipset. The results have exceeded expectations, showcasing the series’ advancements not only in imaging and visual appeal but also in screen quality and battery life.

The third-generation Snapdragon 7 chipset in the Vivo S18 is built using TSMC’s 4nm process. It features a high-performance core cluster, including large, medium, and small cores, to balance multitasking and energy efficiency. Specifically, the large core operates at 2.63GHz, the medium core at 2.4GHz, and the small core at 1.8GHz.

Vivo has developed chip-level all-scenario energy-saving technology based on this chipset, reducing power consumption across various activities, including music, video, reading, and even intense gaming scenarios. The Vivo S18 offers up to 16+512GB of large memory, which can be expanded to achieve a “16GB+16GB” RAM effect. It also introduces a lightweight background feature in the Android industry, optimizing background processes, memory data, and cache files to maximize space utilization.

For gaming, the Vivo S18 includes a super-thin Blue Ocean battery, co-developed with leading lithium battery companies, ensuring a slim design without compromising on the 5000mAh battery capacity. The innovative battery material, combined with an intelligent battery health engine, doubles the industry standard for battery life, maintaining over 80% health after 1600 charge cycles.

In gaming tests, the Vivo S18 performed impressively. In AnTuTu, it scored 936,817, and it maintained stable frame rates in high-quality settings for games like “Honor of Kings” and “Genshin Impact.” The device also features 80W fast charging, which can charge the phone to 41% in just half an hour and fully charge it in 44 minutes.

In summary, the Vivo S18’s performance is satisfying, with upgrades in battery life, performance, and a 120Hz high-refresh-rate screen, enhancing the gaming experience. The S18 series has evolved into a “mid-range all-rounder,” making it a suitable choice for users with photography and gaming needs.
