vivo X500 Pro Max features the same Thanos telephoto lens as the Ultra: a new generation concert-ready camera.

Fast Technology reported that Han Boxiao, General Manager of vivo’s X series product line, introduced the telephoto specifications of the vivo X500 series.

Users familiar with Vivo know that the X series flagship, with its Zeiss APO super telephoto lens and matching teleconverter, has always been hailed as a concert magic weapon, allowing clear capture of stage details even from a high vantage point.

Previously, a South Korean netizen compiled a “China travel shopping list,” which included the vivo teleconverter lens alongside konjac juice, Want Want milk candy, and Shanghai Women’s face cream, classifying them as “must-buy items.”

According to data from duty-free shops and e-commerce platforms, in April alone, more than 5,000 vivo “Big Gun 400” and “Lipstick 200” teleconverters were sold at Jeju Island, Incheon Airport, and Shanghai departure tax refund points. The 400mm model sold out multiple times, with restocking cycles lasting up to two weeks. Some consumers even traveled to stores in Shanghai and Chengdu specifically to find stock.

The new generation vivo X500 Pro Max features a Zeiss 200MP APO super telephoto lens, using the same Blueprint x Samsung HP0 sensor as the X300 Ultra, boasting a 1/1.4-inch super large sensor and supporting hardware 4×ISZ . The telephoto algorithm has also been iterated and upgraded, bringing improvements to three core capabilities.

First, it boasts “long range,” supporting the same 400mm teleconverter as the Ultra, easily handling telephoto scenarios such as concerts, sports events, and bird photography. Second, it’s “stable,” equipped with the industry’s strongest CIPA 7.0 professional-grade image stabilization, on par with the Zeiss Ultra Dynamic main camera, ensuring maximum consistency in dual-camera image stabilization, maintaining stability even when shooting handheld.

Finally, there’s the “accuracy.” The Super Capture Engine supports high-speed capture at up to 30x zoom, accurately freezing moments whether it’s a 0.1-second jump on stage or a pet’s dash. From product to market, the vivo X500 series is continuing its reputation as a “concert must-have” with its telephoto capabilities.
