Xiaomi 18 Pro Max configuration rivals Ultra:

Blogger Digital Chat Station hinted that the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has a very impressive configuration, including a top-tier domestic screen, a full-fledged flagship chip, a super-large imaging algorithm, a large-capacity battery, and the strongest peripheral accessories, making it top-notch in every core dimension.

Specifically, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will feature a new generation of SuperPixel screen and will debut with Qualcomm’s most powerful SoC, the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra. In terms of imaging, it will debut a Leica dual 200MP imaging solution and introduce the same imaging algorithm as Ultra. Furthermore, flagship-level features such as a large-capacity battery, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and dust and water resistance will also be included.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max also retains the Magic Screen feature, which is absent in competing products. This design has long been a signature visual element of the Xiaomi 17 Pro and a differentiating selling point that attracts high-end users.

This rear screen not only supports customizable dynamic interactive wallpapers, but also deeply integrates real-time interactive functions for high-frequency scenarios such as ride-hailing and food delivery. Users can view key progress information without unlocking the main screen, greatly improving the convenience of daily use.

Of course, the price of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is also expected to increase accordingly. Qualcomm had previously announced that it would raise the prices of all its chips starting in September, with flagship chips seeing double-digit increases, mainly to offset the cost pressure brought by the continued rise in costs from TSMC’s advanced process manufacturing and memory devices.

The previous generation started at 5999 yuan. Considering factors such as rising Qualcomm chip prices, the starting price of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will most likely exceed 6000 yuan. The phone will be officially released in September, along with the Xiaomi 18 Pro, which will be the first to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra flagship platform and is also highly anticipated.
