Xiaomi 18 Pro series international version officially announced for release this year

Fast Technology reported that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series was officially launched in China, bringing two models: the Xiaomi 18 Pro and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, with prices starting at 5,999 yuan.

Today, Zeng Xuezhong, Senior Vice President of Xiaomi Group and President of the International Department, announced that the international version of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will be released within the year.

It is understood that last year’s Xiaomi 17 Pro series did not launch in overseas markets, and only the international versions of Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra were released.

This also means that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will bring the Magic Screen back screen to the global market for the first time.

In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 18 Pro is the world’s first to feature the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra, and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is the world’s first to feature the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Ultra.

Both chips are built using TSMC’s 2nm GAA process and feature Qualcomm’s third-generation Orion CPU architecture, making them the industry’s first mobile platform with a CPU clock speed exceeding 5GHz.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro series’ Magic Screen supports features such as dynamic notifications and AI-powered customizable back screens, which can generate personalized content such as cute pets and idols . It can also generate exclusive wallpapers by taking photos, which can be matched with phone cases.

In addition, the first batch of 100+ application cards for the Miaoxiang back screen covers various scenarios such as quick tools, information notifications, and stress-relieving mini-games.
