Xiaomi 15 series today pushed a new version of Surge OS 2, adding a new important feature – Xingchen Netcom.
At the press conference, Xiaomi said that this is “the industry’s first kilometer-level network-free call”. Two-way calls are possible even without a network within a radius of 3.5km. This is of great significance in scenarios such as concerts, outdoor adventures, and emergency rescue.
In addition, Xingchen Wireless Network has the ability to penetrate seven layers of walls. Even in high-rise buildings or complex construction environments, users can maintain a stable communication connection without worrying about the signal being blocked or interfered with.
It should be noted that the Xiaomi Xingchen No Netcom function needs to be used in the call APP. Before using this function, you need to insert the SIM card and log in to the Xiaomi account.
In addition, REDMI K80 Pro has begun to push the 3.5km distance version for off-network calls.
It is worth mentioning that the official also announced that the Xiaomi 15 series and K80 Pro are expected to push the 6km distance version at the end of December, which will enable network-free calls at a longer distance and higher practicality.
