Xiaomi has officially announced a price reduction for the Xiaomi 13 smartphone, effective from December 22nd. The new starting price is 3299 yuan, with the option of up to 24 months of interest-free payments.
Alongside the price reduction, the Xiaomi 13 is set to receive an upgrade to the official version of HyperOS. This new operating system, which has undergone a comprehensive reconstruction at the system level, aims to elevate the user experience of the Xiaomi 13 to new heights.
Despite the launch of the Xiaomi 14 series, the Xiaomi 13 remains a competitive option, with Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO, previously stating that the Xiaomi 13 would not be quickly phased out of the market.
The Xiaomi 13 features a 6.36-inch screen supporting DC dimming and HDR display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor and comes with LPDDR 5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash storage.
The device also includes Leica professional optical lenses, a native dual-image quality system, and a Leica 75mm telephoto lens, suitable for both distant and portrait photography.
The Xiaomi 13 achieved significant sales success during the JD.com 618 sales period, particularly in the 4000-5999 yuan Android phone price range.
In summary, the Xiaomi 13’s price reduction and upcoming HyperOS upgrade make it an even more attractive option in the smartphone market. Its advanced features and strong sales performance demonstrate its continued relevance and appeal to consumers.
