Xiaomi’s most powerful SoC is here! Lu Weibing reveals the Xuanjie chip: extremely powerful.

Fast Technology reported that Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, revealed during a live broadcast that an upgraded version of Xiaomi’s Xuanjie chip will be launched this year. This is a very powerful chip, and a high-performing product will be equipped with this new chip in the future.

Lu Weibing specifically pointed out that it is not convenient to disclose specific details about the new chip of the Xuanjie at this stage. The various related rumors circulating online are not credible. Everyone can wait for the official announcement. The final product experience is worth looking forward to.

Public information shows that Xiaomi launched its annual flagship Xiaomi 15S Pro in May last year. This model was the first to be equipped with the first-generation Xuanjie O1 chip.

This is Xiaomi’s most powerful self-developed mobile phone chip, marking Xiaomi as the first company in mainland China and the fourth globally to independently develop and design 3nm mobile phone chips. The birth of the Xuanjie O1 not only demonstrates Xiaomi’s core R&D strength in the cutting-edge chip field but also fills a long-standing gap for domestic companies in the field of high-performance 3nm mobile processors.

After a year, the new product iteration is on the agenda. The next-generation flagship chip, Xuanjie O3, will use TSMC’s most advanced 3nm process, and its core performance will reach new heights compared to the first generation.

It’s worth noting that the application scope of this new Xuanjie iteration chip will no longer be limited to smartphones alone; it will be widely used in various smart terminal devices under Xiaomi, each with different positioning. This cross-category application layout can further expand the ecological application scenarios of self-developed chips and significantly improve the intelligent user experience of interconnected devices across all scenarios.

By connecting the underlying architecture of all types of devices, Xiaomi is expected to achieve deeper cross-platform collaboration, making the interconnection and interaction between different devices smoother and more natural, and bringing users a unified experience of full-scenario ecosystem services.
