There are still 10 days before Apple’s press conference. The most anticipated product this year is the iPhone 17 Pro, which may be the generation with the biggest changes in history.

Appearance
Size and material: Continuing the iPhone 16 Pro’s 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch sizes.
The frame has returned from titanium to aluminum, adopting an integrated aluminum body + glass splicing design. The glass area is retained around the MagSafe charger and the Apple logo, and the rest of the frame is aluminum to enhance durability.
Back shell: The camera bump has changed from a square on the left to a rectangular strip, the lenses are still arranged in a triangle, the flash and lidar sensor have been moved to the right, and the bump occupies most of the width of the body; the Apple logo on the back may move down.
Thickness: The thickness increases to 8.725mm (iPhone 16 Pro is 8.25mm), and the extra space may be used to accommodate a larger battery.
Color: Newly added “orange” (actually or close to copper, bolder than traditional gold) and dark blue, retaining the classic black, white and gray.
Screen
It retains the OLED screen specifications of the iPhone 16 Pro series, but the protective glass has been upgraded with a more durable AR anti-reflective coating process to reduce reflections without affecting screen visibility, making it more scratch-resistant and drop-resistant.
performance
Equipped with the new A19 Pro chip, using TSMC’s 3nm process, there is no significant performance leap, but it is faster and more efficient than the A18 Pro, and the memory is upgraded to 12GB (iPhone 16 Pro is 8GB).
Apple has created a VC liquid cooling system for the first time, which, combined with a steel-shell battery, can effectively increase chip speed, reduce heat generation, and also ensure battery life.
Battery life/charging
Due to the thicker body, the battery capacity may be increased. It is rumored that a battery exceeding 5000mAh will be used for the first time.
It supports the Qi 2.2 charging protocol and can charge at up to 25W (the same speed as MagSafe) when paired with compatible accessories, but accessory manufacturers need to launch new Qi 2.2 chargers.

The telephoto lens has been upgraded to 48 million pixels, and for the first time, all three lenses (main camera, ultra-wide-angle lens, and telephoto lens) are 48 million pixels. It supports up to 8x optical zoom (possibly exclusive to Pro Max), and the main camera may be equipped with an adjustable aperture.
A new dual video recording function has been added (the front and rear cameras can be used at the same time), and the front camera has been upgraded to 24 million pixels; it is expected to support 8K video recording for the first time.
Pricing
Affected by tariffs (Apple’s tariff expenditures in the September quarter exceeded US$1 billion, and the costs may be passed on to consumers), pricing rumors vary; perhaps only the iPhone 17 Pro will increase in price, with the increase possibly being US$50, and the minimum storage capacity may increase from 128GB to 256GB.
