According to leaks, Xiaomi 16 will completely solve the battery life anxiety problem this time. It will be equipped with a 7000mAh battery, which is the small straight-screen flagship with the largest battery and supports 100W fast charging.

There are also new changes in appearance. The R corner of the rectangular module in the upper left corner is more rounded, and the Deco extension is cut at a slope, and the visual transition is less convex.

In addition, the entire series is custom-made and uses new technology to create an integrated middle frame.

It is worth noting that this screen also has new technology, and the bezel will break the industry record. It was previously revealed that the black border is only 1mm, which is a significant improvement compared to the 1.38mm of Xiaomi 15.

The Xiaomi Mi 16 series uses the new LIPO packaging process. The Chinese name of LIPO is “low injection pressure overmolding”. By using polymer liquid material to wrap the wiring area, the buffer protection area is eliminated, achieving an extremely narrow bezel.

The Xiaomi 16 series will be the first to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 flagship, using Qualcomm’s self-developed Oryon CPU, consisting of 2 super cores and 6 large cores, and integrating the Adreno 840 GPU. The GPU independent cache is upgraded to 16MB, and the GeekBench 6 single-core theoretical performance is set at 4000+, and the multi-core score is 11000+.

In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s single-core score is around 3100 and its multi-core score is around 9800.
