Caviar launches the iPhone 17 Pro Max Collector’s Edition: detachable Swiss watch mount.Starting at 350,000!

Fast Technology reported that Caviar, a high-end digital customization brand, released the Masters of Time collection, which is based on a deeply modified iPhone 17 Pro Max and features a pioneering customized solution that embeds a detachable Swiss mechanical watch within the phone’s body.

The product features a self-developed Watch Vault quick-release locking mechanism, with a dedicated mechanical lock built into the back of the watch body. No tools are needed; simply rotate the clasp to remove the watch, attach the strap, and wear it normally.

The inner lining of the case is made of soft material to prevent bumps and knocks. After removing the watch, a decorative cover with an engraved astrolabe can be installed, making the case complete and beautiful. It can be used as both a mobile phone and a watch. The design is inspired by ancient astronomical instruments.

The series debuts with two limited-edition, one-of-a-kind models, each incorporating a Patek Philippe Ref. 6102P astronomical watch, with the dial capable of real-time synchronization with the Northern Hemisphere starry sky and moon phases.

The main body is made of 18K white gold, with ancient cold enamel techniques, slices of the 4.5 billion-year-old Muonio meteorite, and high-clarity VVS diamonds. All the gemstones and metal decorations are hand-set and polished by craftsmen under a microscope, and each piece takes several weeks to create.

The Portugieser version features an IWC skeletonized tourbillon watch with a white gold case adorned with hand-engraved patterns and white diamonds and orange and sapphires.

Caviar also released concept designs for Rolex and Jacob & Co watches, supporting custom modifications of Swiss watches with a diameter of 42–44mm.

The accompanying packaging is equally luxurious, featuring an outer brand blue-stamped gold gift box and an inner suede watch bag made of the same material as Hermès, along with an exclusive certificate of authenticity.

In terms of pricing, the titanium custom version starts at $49,640, the Omega matching titanium alloy custom version starts at $49,640 (approximately RMB 350,000), and the top-of-the-line Patek Philippe collaboration version is priced as high as $215,360 (equivalent to over RMB 1.5 million), targeting the high-end watch collector circle.

All models retain the original hardware and system functions of the iPhone, making them limited-edition collectible customized digital products.
