Google confirmed that the Pixel 9 series comes standard with UFS 3.1 flash memory and does not use the newer UFS 4.0 standard.

After all, the Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold are priced at more than $1,000, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold 512GB version is priced at $1,919 (approximately RMB 13,700). The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra of the same price comes standard with UFS 4.0 flash memory.
Public information shows that UFS 4.0 has a read speed of up to 4200MBps, while maintaining up to 23.2Gbps data transmission through MIPI M-PHY 5.0, which is twice that of UFS 3.1.
