Google Pixel 10a Battery Details Surface via EU Energy Label Listing

As is typically the case with Google’s upcoming smartphones, key details about the Pixel 10a have surfaced long before its official release. A significant amount of information about the handset has already been revealed ahead of schedule. Adding to that Google itself confirmed the phone’s design weeks ahead of time, generating buzz well before the planned February 18 announcement.

Beyond basic specifications, the EU’s energy label outlines additional technical details including expected battery endurance and durability standards. According to the label the phone can deliver up to 53 hours and 14 minutes of usage on a single full charge. It also indicates that the battery is designed to withstand up to 1,000 charging cycles before its health declines below 80% of its original capacity.

In terms of durability, the handset holds an IP68 certification meaning it is protected against dust intrusion and can withstand water exposure under specified conditions. It performed impressively in repeated free fall drop tests achieving an “A” score for impact resistance. The repairability rating is also commendable as the device received a “B” grade for how easily it can be repaired.

If earlier rumors prove to be accurate, the device is expected to feature a 5,100 mAh battery. While that figure may not immediately stand out compared to some larger smartphones on the market, it is quite reasonable considering the phone’s relatively compact 6.29 inch display. Given the display size, the battery should offer a balanced mix of performance and efficiency.
