Luo Wei previously stated that Honor will not blindly pile up hardware, nor will it waste time on flashy designs, as this aligns with his hardware design philosophy. Honor will invest in hardware for functions currently unattainable by AI, functions currently unattainable without AI, and functions that AI can improve 100-fold. He also stated that within three years, Honor aims to leave competitors behind, and that the plan is proceeding smoothly and even faster than expected.

It is reported that Honor will launch its annual flagship Honor Magic8 series in October. This phone will be the first to be equipped with Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform and is the most powerful high-end flagship in Honor’s history.
