Honor Magic9 officially announced for release on September 28th! Snapdragon 2nm flagship chip.

Fast Technology reported that Honor recently released the world’s first robot phone, the Honor Robot Phone, with prices starting at 9,999 yuan.

In an interview following the press conference, Honor CEO Li Jian announced that the Honor Magic9 series will be officially released on September 28.

Currently, the Honor Magic9 series is available for pre-order on the Honor Mall.

As Honor’s new generation flagship of the year, the Magic9 series will be comprehensively upgraded in terms of performance, imaging and AI experience, further strengthening the Magic series’ high-end flagship positioning.

In terms of performance, the Honor Magic9 series will be among the first to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 series flagship chip.

The chip will be manufactured using TSMC’s N2P 2nm process, and compared to the previous generation, it will see improvements in performance, energy efficiency, and edge AI capabilities. The Honor Magic9 series will also become Honor’s first flagship phone to enter the 2nm era.

Imaging is another major focus of the Magic9 series upgrade.

Honor has partnered with ARRI, a century-old German professional film and television equipment brand, and the imaging technology jointly developed by the two parties will be fully applied to the Magic9 series, further enhancing its performance in video shooting and still images.

According to the digital blogger “Digital Chat Station”, the Honor Magic9 series will be equipped with a 200-megapixel 1/1.28-inch ultra-large sensor main camera with an F1.57 aperture and support 3° OIS optical image stabilization.

The new camera will also feature a 200-megapixel 1/1.4-inch large-sensor periscope telephoto lens with an aperture of F2.6, further enhancing its telephoto and multi-focal length imaging capabilities.

In addition, the Honor Magic9 series will continue and enhance the professional imaging technology of Robot Phone, and achieve further breakthroughs in AI experience and other aspects.
