Xiaomi MIX Fold 5 to debut as early as September: World’s first to feature the O3 ring

Leaks indicate that the Xuanjie O3, codenamed Lhasa, is built on TSMC’s 3nm process and is Xiaomi’s most powerful self-developed chip to date. In terms of architecture, the Xuanjie O3 adopts a more aggressive design compared to the Xuanjie O1.

It abandons the traditional large-core cluster and instead adopts a three-cluster design with super-large cores, titanium cores, and small cores, with a clock frequency exceeding 4GHz. One blogger pointed out that although both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and the Xiaomi MIX Fold 5 are wide folding phones, their positioning is significantly different.
