Huawei has achieved sales of over 600,000 units in just 3 months! Pura X Max will be available in a brand new color.

Huawei Pura X Max may be getting a new color option. Currently, the model is available in five colors: Midnight Black, Zero White, Interstellar Blue, Olive Gold, and Vibrant Orange, in both a limited edition and a standard edition. The starting configuration is 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, with a maximum configuration of 16GB RAM + 1TB storage.

Considering Huawei will release its Mate 90 series flagship in September, it’s possible that a new color option for the Pura X Max will debut in September. The Huawei Pura X Max officially went on sale on April 25th, with a starting price of 10,999 yuan.

As of the 30th week of 2026 (July 20 to July 26), the cumulative sales of the Huawei Pura X Max series were approximately 644,700 units, meaning that this wide foldable model achieved sales of more than 600,000 units in about three months after its launch.

In terms of product design, the Pura X Max pioneered a wide-folding form factor, with a 5.4-inch external screen and a 7.7-inch internal screen, with an aspect ratio close to 14:10. This provides a larger effective display area when watching 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio videos, resulting in a more immersive audio-visual experience. This unique form factor has become a key factor in its differentiated competitiveness in the high-end market.

In terms of hardware configuration, the Pura X Max is equipped with a Kirin 9030 Pro chip and a rear camera system featuring a 50MP ultra-zoom main camera, a 12.5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with a large aperture, and a second-generation red maple primary color camera, forming a flagship-level imaging system covering the entire focal length range. The battery capacity is 5300mAh, which can meet the daily battery life needs of heavy users.

Driven by Huawei, major brands such as Apple and Samsung have followed suit with wide foldable screens, viewing them as a new strategic track. Some manufacturers have even chosen to abandon traditional large foldable product lines and concentrate resources on wide foldable screens, which are gradually becoming an important development direction for the foldable screen market.
