HyperOS 3 Update Hits Xiaomi 13 Series and Other Devices

The new HyperOS 3 from Xiaomi is steadily reaching more of the company’s devices updating them one by one. Even though many phones are now being updated, some users will still need to wait for their turn. According to ITHome, the latest list of devices receiving the Android 16 based update has been released. This update is currently rolling out for Chinese models first and users with global versions should expect the update to arrive around one month later.

The update is being rolled out gradually which means that not all devices will receive it at the same time. Instead, it is being delivered in batches to ensure a smooth rollout. The current phase focuses on 2023 devices such as the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 and the Xiaomi 13 series. Several Redmi Note smartphones are also part of the update, covering models released between 2023 and 2025. This list includes the Redmi Note 15 Pro, Note 14 Pro and Note 13 Pro along with their Pro+ versions.

It’s important to note that the list mentioned above applies to devices in China. For devices in other parts of the world, the global rollout schedule is usually about a month behind the Chinese schedule. For instance, the Xiaomi 13 series is planned to get HyperOS 3 in January. Several Redmi Note phones are also expected to receive it at the same time. The only exception is the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G variant, which is set to receive the update this month, ahead of the other devices.

It’s worth mentioning that Poco phones follow a separate schedule for receiving the HyperOS 3 update.The update schedule for Poco is not the same as for Xiaomi or Redmi models.
