Data shows that as of the 29th week of 2026 (July 13-July 19), the cumulative activation volume of Huawei Pura X Max was approximately 285,900 units, and the cumulative activation volume of Pura X Max Collector’s Edition was approximately 325,900 units, with the two models totaling 611,800 units.

In comparison, as of the 26th week of this year, the cumulative activation volume of Huawei Pura X Max series was approximately 516,300 units, which means that approximately 95,500 units were added in three weeks, and sales maintained steady growth.

It’s worth mentioning that the higher-end, more expensive Collector’s Edition still outsells the standard version, currently leading by about 40,000 units, demonstrating the Pura X Max’s appeal in the high-end foldable screen market.

It is understood that the Huawei Pura X Max officially went on sale on April 25 this year, with a starting price of 10,999 yuan. It is the industry’s first large-size foldable phone.

In terms of performance, the phone is equipped with the Kirin 9030 Pro chip, which improves overall performance by 30%, including a 25% increase in CPU performance, a 40% increase in GPU performance, and a 70% increase in NPU performance . It also supports real-time ray tracing hardware acceleration.

In terms of intelligent experience, the Huawei Pura X Max is equipped with Xiaoyi Smart Brain and the industry’s first companion AI, which can provide a more intelligent interactive experience in scenarios such as complex intent understanding, task planning and multi-step operation.

At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, the first batch of test results after the implementation of the national standard series “Intelligent Classification of Artificial Intelligence Terminals” was officially released, and Huawei Pura X Max obtained the first certification for L3 level artificial intelligence mobile phone under the national standard.

Based on the level of intelligence of smart terminals in completing tasks and the degree of user participation in the task execution process, this series of national standards classifies products into L1 response level, L2 tool level and L3 auxiliary level.

L3 represents a higher level of intelligence, where the terminal can understand complex intentions, complete complex reasoning, and autonomously break down tasks, plan workflows, and call tools according to the task plan to complete multi-step operations.
