iPhone 18 Pro’s simplified camera button function

According to the latest industry leaks, the camera button on the iPhone 18 Pro series will retain pressure sensitivity but completely abandon capacitive touch functionality. This means the button will become a dedicated camera app launcher and shutter button, offering a more direct and intuitive user experience.

In addition to the streamlined interaction buttons, the iPhone 18 Pro series also features a major breakthrough in front visual design. The overall size of its Dynamic Island will be about 35% smaller than existing models, significantly enhancing the visual immersion.

Through technological breakthroughs, Apple successfully hid some of the core Face ID components beneath the screen, effectively reducing the size of the front-facing cutout. This evolution makes the iPhone 18 Pro the Apple model with the highest screen-to-body ratio in its history, further moving towards a true full-screen design.
