iPhone SE 4 Battery Is Larger Than You Expect

Apple iPhone SE4 is expected to receive a huge battery boost. According to a source speaking to MacRumors, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to inherit the same battery as the iPhone 14. This move could significantly enhance the battery life of Apple’s next-generation budget-friendly iPhone, offering a substantial improvement over its predecessor, the iPhone SE 3.

The iPhone SE 3’s battery capacity is 2,010mAh, while the iPhone 14 is believed to house a 3,279mAh cell. If the iPhone SE 4 indeed adopts this larger battery, it would mark a notable upgrade in terms of battery performance.

In lab tests, the iPhone SE 3 lasted for 9 hours and 5 minutes, whereas the iPhone 14 managed 9 hours and 28 minutes. The iPhone SE 4, with the iPhone 14’s battery, could potentially offer some of the best battery life seen in an iPhone yet.

Apart from the battery, the article also hints at a possible redesign for the iPhone SE 4. It might abandon the dated look of the iPhone SE 3 and adopt a design more akin to the iPhone 14, featuring flat sides and a 6.1-inch display. However, it’s unlikely that the iPhone SE 4 will include the Dynamic Island feature found in the latest iPhone models.

The release date of the iPhone SE 4 remains uncertain, with predictions varying between 2024 and 2025. The potential incorporation of the iPhone 14’s battery into the SE 4 suggests a closer release date, possibly in the first half of 2024.

This speculation adds more excitement to the ongoing discussions about the iPhone SE 4, especially considering the iPhone SE series is due for an update following the last release in 2022, which didn’t offer many compelling new features.
