The iQOO 12 is set to redefine the standards for smartphone displays with its upcoming release, boasting a top-tier domestic screen made of Visionox VM7 material. This new model from iQOO has been eagerly anticipated, and the product manager “Ge Lan V” has revealed the screen specifications ahead of its official launch.
The iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch large screen with a 1.54mm black edge, which is even narrower than those on the iPhone 15 Pro and Xiaomi 14, offering a more immersive visual experience. The display quality is packed with features, including a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate, the latest LTPO technology, and a 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
As a flagship model with a focus on gaming performance, the iQOO 12 is one of the first to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset, achieving scores over 2.17 million, surpassing currently available models. Additionally, the iQOO 12 will feature the first self-developed esports chip Q1, which supports super-resolution and super-frame concurrency, adapting algorithm parameters by category to enhance the clarity of the image in areas where the human eye is most sensitive.
Notably, the iQOO 12 will also be the first iQOO phone to support an IP68 protection level, ensuring durability and resistance to dust and water.
