The iPhone 17 series was officially launched today, with a starting price of 5,999 yuan.
JD.com announced that as of 12:00 today, more than 30,000 users across the country have successfully signed for the iPhone 17 series on JD.com. The users who signed for the new phones on the same day were spread across major cities and 80% of districts and counties across the country.
According to JD.com, Mr. Wang from Shanghai was one of the first JD.com Apple fans to get the new phone. Just after 8 a.m., a JD.com delivery rider arrived at his doorstep with the new iPhone 17 Pro Max.
In addition, JD.com data showed that within one minute of the pre-sale of the new iPhone 17 series on JD.com going on sale, the transaction volume exceeded the entire day last year, setting a new sales record.
As of 10:00 a.m. on September 19, iPhone 17 trade-in sales were four times that of the same period last year.
JD.com said that users who use the old-for-new service can receive a subsidy of up to 2,100 yuan, and are also entitled to 24 interest-free installments.
