According to Fast Technology on September 23, the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will be officially released at 19:00 today. The new phone is positioned as a “dual-size imaging technology flagship” and will bring two models: Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.

Today, Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, posted that the strongest single-frame power consumption performance in gaming ever achieved by a Xiaomi phone will be brought to the new Xiaomi 18 Pro.

In the comments section, a netizen asked: “Mr. Lu, why is there no Xiaomi 18 standard edition anymore?”

In response, Lu Weibing said, “Yes, I will post it separately later.”

This also means that the release schedule of the Xiaomi 18 series this year will be adjusted, with the Pro series taking the lead and the standard version being released separately later.

Previously, the blogger “Digital Chat Station” revealed that the Xiaomi 18 standard edition is expected to be unveiled in December, and the new phone will be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest 2nm flagship chip – the sixth generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra.

In terms of appearance, the Xiaomi 18 standard edition is expected to feature a 6.4-inch ultra-narrow four-sided straight screen on the front, while the back will continue the previous generation’s square minimalist DECO camera design, with the lens module located in the upper left corner of the body.
