The Xiaomi 18 Pro series also has One More Thing! The transparent version is making a comeback after 6 years.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will be officially launched tonight at 19:00, bringing two new phones: the Xiaomi 18 Pro and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.

On the eve of the press conference, Xiaomi’s official Weibo account released another teaser poster, saying: “Tonight is a little special. The last time we met was 6 years ago.”

Judging from the poster,
a red Xiaomi 18 Pro is displayed in a semi-transparent form, and the internal structure of the phone, such as the camera module and wireless charging coil, is clearly visible. It is also accompanied by the words “One More Thing”.

Based on previous leaks, this teaser is seen by many netizens as hinting at the return of the transparent version, with numerous speculations in the comments section including “transparent exploration version” and “red exploration version”.

In fact, Xiaomi has launched several flagship models with transparent designs in the past, including the Xiaomi 8 Transparent Explorer Edition, the Xiaomi 9 Transparent Premium Edition, and the Xiaomi 10 Ultra Transparent Edition.

Among them, the Xiaomi 10 Ultra Transparent Edition was released in 2020, exactly 6 years ago, which coincides with the official teaser information that “the last time we met was 6 years ago”.

In terms of core configuration, the Xiaomi 18 Pro will be the first to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra, while the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be the first to use the Snapdragon 8 Super Ultra.

Both chips are manufactured using TSMC’s 2nm process, and the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will become Xiaomi’s first mobile phone product to enter the era of 2nm flagship platform.
