Meizu 21 Pro Rumored To Feature 2K OLED Screen With Eye Protection And Satellite Communication

Recently, it was reported that Meizu has two new devices registered, with model numbers M481Q and M481S. According to reports, these models are the upcoming Meizu 21 Pro, with one of them possibly being named the “Unbounded Edition,” following the Product strategy of the previous Meizu 20 series. On January 18, 2024, it was revealed by a Chinese leaker that the Meizu 21 Pro is expected to feature a 2K eye Protection screen. Additionally, the device is currently undergoing testing for its satellite communication functionality and is equipped with the OmniVision OV50H sensor.

Furthermore, the Meizu 21 Pro is reportedly testing a 2K+ large-area ultrasonic fingerprint solution, a rare feature in 2024, as most other brands are using single-point fingerprint solutions. This indicates Meizu’s technological leadership and exceptional screen quality.

For context, the Meizu 20 Pro was launched at the end of March this year as a flagship product of Meizu Technology. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile SoC, a 2K resolution OLED screen with high refresh rate support, and an ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking module under the screen. The device also boasts a triple rear camera setup, with the primary camera being a 50-megapixel sensor and a minimalist and durable lens module design.
