October flagship battle! Huawei Mate 70 vs. Snapdragon 8 Gen4/Dimensity 9400 flagships

 blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that the Dimensity 9400 terminal and the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 terminal will both be launched in October, first launched by vivo and Xiaomi respectively .

Also unveiled at the same time is the Huawei Mate 70 series, and other brands will also launch their annual flagships in October , making the competition extremely fierce.

As Huawei’s most powerful high-end flagship, the Mate 70 series has attracted much attention in the industry. According to reports, the Mate 70 series has four versions, namely standard, Pro, Pro+, and RS Master.

This new product will be equipped with the new flagship platform of the Kirin 9 series and will be the first to launch HarmonyOS NEXT, which is the pure-blooded Hongmeng system created by Huawei.

It is understood that one of the biggest highlights of HarmonyOS NEXT is that the system base is fully self-developed, removing the traditional AOSP code and only supporting the Hongmeng kernel and Hongmeng system applications.

Data previously released by research firm Counterpoint Research showed that HarmonyOS’s market share in China increased from 8% in the first quarter of 2023 to 17% in the first quarter of 2024, while iOS’s share decreased from 20% to 16%.

This also means that Huawei’s HarmonyOS has surpassed Apple’s iOS in the Chinese market for the first time, becoming China’s second largest operating system.

Currently, the TOP 5000 popular applications have all started HarmonyOS native development, covering 99.9% of the user market, with more than 1500 applications already on the shelves.
