Official Marketing Material Confirms Chipset Specs for Motorola Edge 70 Fusion

Motorola is reportedly preparing to introduce the new Edge 70 Fusion in the near future. Early rumors surrounding the device suggested it might be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. However, those reports were thrown into question when an early Geekbench listing showed the device running with the newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor instead. Adding clarity to the situation, a freshly leaked official marketing image now confirms that Motorola’s Edge 70 Fusion will in fact come with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor.

Beyond confirming the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, the marketing material for the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion also highlights that the device will include 12GB of RAM as standard. However there have been circulating rumors about a possible 8GB variant as well which would give buyers the option of choosing between different memory configurations.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is also rumored to come with 256GB of internal storage along with a large 6.78 inch AMOLED display that offers a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The screen is reportedly capable of reaching a peak brightness of 5,200 nits while the device itself may be powered by a hefty 7,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is expected to sport a 32MP front facing camera for selfies and video calls while the main rear camera will reportedly use a 50MP LYTIA sensor to capture high quality photos. The phone will reportedly ship with Android 16 and if rumors hold true, will be entitled to three major operating system upgrades. In terms of durability, the device is said to be both IP68 and IP69 rated for water and dust resistance, in addition to meeting MIL-STD-810H military standards for ruggedness.
