Poco X8 Pro Series: Full Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch

The Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max appear to be getting closer to their official launch as both devices have recently passed multiple certifications. Adding to the excitement the Pro model was spotted on Geekbench not long ago revealing key information about its chipset performance. Recently a reliable tipster has shared the full specifications of both handsets providing comprehensive preview of their features and capabilities.

According to the tipster the upcoming Poco X8 Pro Max is expected to be equipped with the powerful Dimensity 9500s chipset. In addition the device will come with LPDDR5x Ultra RAM which should provide smoother performance during heavy usage along with UFS 4.1 storage for faster read and write speed.

The device is reportedly set to feature 6.83 inch OLED display boasting a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a sharp 1.5K resolution. It is said to reach peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits in high brightness mode and support 3,840Hz PWM for reduced flicker. The device is expected to offer an ultrasonic in display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, an IP69K rating for water and dust resistance and additional features such as NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and an IR blaster.

The Poco X8 Pro Max is expected to come with a capable camera system headlined by a 50MP Light Hunter 600 primary rear sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens for expansive shots and a 20MP front camera for selfies. In terms of battery the device is said to house a massive 8,500mAh cell which will support 100W wired fast charging for rapid power top ups.

On the other hand the Poco X8 Pro is reportedly expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset offering efficient performance for day to day task and gaming. It is expected to come with a 6.59 inch OLED display that matches the Pro Max in term of specifications ensuring a similar high quality viewing experience. Additionally it is tipped to include 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support allowing users to recharge quickly and continue using the device without long interruptions.

The Pro model is rumored to feature a camera setup headed by 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear sensor. It is expected to be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens for capturing wider scenes while 20MP front facing camera will handle selfies and video calls.

It is expected to include a wide range of features, such as an IP69K rating for water and dust resistance, NFC for contactless payments, Bluetooth 5.4 for fast and stable wireless connections, Wi-Fi 6 for improved internet speeds and an IR blaster for controlling compatible devices. In addition the phone is expected to feature an optical in-display fingerprint sensor enabling users to unlock the device with a simple touch. Both the Pro and Pro Max variants are likely to operate on HyperOS 3 which is based on Android 16 ensuring an updated and smooth user experience.

Based on the recently leaked specs the Poco X8 Pro Max looks to be heavily based on the Redmi Turbo 5 Max platform while the Poco X8 Pro could essentially be a rebranded variant of the regular Redmi Turbo 5 with minor changes and enhancements.
