OnePlus is set to unveil its new 15T model in China toward the end of this month. Prior to its official launch OnePlus has already shared some crucial specifications highlighting that the device will be a compact flagship featuring an upgraded periscope telephoto camera. More recently a top OnePlus executive has shared additional information shedding light on the phone’s display and its capabilities.
Li Jie, the President of OnePlus China, recently posted on Weibo an image showcasing the display of the upcoming OnePlus 15T. The image highlight the smartphone’s thin and evenly sized bezels suggesting a premium and compact design. Additionally, the teaser compares the OnePlus 15T’s screen with what appears to be Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro allowing fans to see how the two devices’ displays stack up against each other.
The bezels on the OnePlus 15T are immediately noticeable for being much slimmer than those on the iPhone giving the device a sleek and modern appearance. Li Jie, President of OnePlus China explained that achieving this required the company to adopt a brand new chip level packaging process along with several other proprietary display technologies developed in house. By integrating these techniques OnePlus has been able to minimize bezel size while maintaining display durability color accuracy and touch responsiveness ensuring that the phone not only looks modern but also deliver a premium visual experience for users.
Recent report suggest that the OnePlus 15T will come equipped with a 6.32 inch AMOLED screen supporting a 1.5K resolution and an ultra fast 165Hz refresh rate which could make animations and gaming feel incredibly fluid.
