OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme and Racing Editions Unveiled: Triple Gaming Chipset Debuts

Today a Chinese leaker has unveiled rendered images of the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition and the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition. As shown in the images, both smartphones feature a centrally placed punch-hole flat display and a vertically aligned camera DECO on the back. The lens layout is similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S25. The golden version of the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition also features a vertical stripe texture, giving it a highly recognizable appearance.

Many netizens praised the design after seeing the renders. Some commented: “Looks great—this striped DECO fits the gaming phone aesthetic perfectly and doesn’t get in the way while gaming.”

As a new member of the Ace series, the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition continues to focus on gaming performance. It debuts with the industry’s first “triple gaming chip” — a full-chain hardware-level solution specifically designed to enhance the gaming experience.

According to Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, engineers broke down the entire gameplay experience at the cellular level and found that lag issues generally fall into three categories: performance, touch control, and network transmission. These correspond to frame drops, touch disconnects, and data flow interruptions or latency.

To fully address these issues, three specialized gaming chips were developed:

• Performance Chip: Dimensity 9400 flagship platform, pre-installed with WindSpeed gaming kernel, aiming for zero frame drops.
• Touch Chip: Lingxi touch chip, aiming for zero touch disconnects.
• Network Chip: G1 gaming Wi-Fi chip, aiming for zero network interruptions.

These new devices will launch on May 27.
