OPPO A6 Pro debuts the latest smooth technology

Chen Xi, design director of ColorOS, said, “Only flagship phones are worthy of being smooth,” and “popular models are laggy and not durable.” This is the inertial thinking that hardware determines everything in the past.

This time, ColorOS has gone one step further in terms of smoothness, not only globally but also across all models. OPPO A6 Pro debuts a brand-new smooth black technology, reconstructing the underlying compilation logic of Android to solve the three major smoothness pain points of daily lag, high temperature lag, and long-term lag at one time, bringing a new level of smoothness experience.

OPPO Chief Product Officer Pete Lau noted that over the past few years, the A series has consistently had a distinctive feature: durability. Waterproof, dustproof, and drop-resistant, we’ve taken physical durability to the extreme, proving the A series’ long-lasting durability through rigorous testing.

But true durability is more than just “not breaking”. Durability should have two dimensions: one is that it will not break after a long time of use, and the other is that it will not jam after a long time of use. The former gives people peace of mind, while the latter is the biggest challenge for entry-level phones, because in the industry, smoothness is often considered to be the “privilege of flagship phones” and needs to be achieved by piling up components.

Today, the A series breaks this limitation. For the first time, we launched ColorOS’s smooth new technology on the A series, reconstructing the underlying compilation logic to make the system run more efficiently and lighter.

From now on, durability is no longer just about “not breaking” in the physical sense; it also means a smooth experience that endures over time. We’ve completely upgraded all aspects of durability: from long-lasting durability to long-lasting lag-free operation, truly protecting every bit of user peace of mind.

This peace of mind is not just a parameter, it is the anticipation of the old man’s wrinkled fingers swiping to start a video call; it is also the few centimeters of distance that the young man uses his mobile phone to press the elevator button against the clock; it is also the youthful time when he lights up the screen in the bed late at night.

On September 9, OPPO A6 Pro ushered in a new era of six years of durability.
