OPPO Find X8 Ultra specifications revealed: the first dual-periscope flagship with Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition

It is reported that OPPO Find X8 Ultra uses a 6.82-inch 2K full-depth four-micro-curved screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, adopts 8T LTPO technology, uses BOE’s X2 luminous material , and has a rear 1-inch large-bottom main camera + dual periscope + ultra-wide-angle quad camera. It has a new Hasselblad multispectral sensor and is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition. It supports single-point ultrasonic fingerprint recognition and IP68/IP69 full-level waterproof.

In terms of configuration, Find X8 Ultra continues the dual periscope strategy of the previous generation. It is the industry’s first Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition flagship equipped with dual periscope telephoto.

As we all know, the advantage of a telephoto lens is long-distance shooting. It can capture the target even at a range of dozens of times and maintain good imaging effects.

The advantage of pairing two periscope lenses is that users do not have to be limited to choosing between a single lens in the 3x or 5x range, but can achieve smooth zoom in the range of 3x to 6x at the same time, providing greater creative freedom.

Taking OPPO Find X7 Ultra as an example, the phone supports 3x optical zoom and 6x optical zoom at the same time. It also pioneered the 135mm portrait close-up focal length for mobile imaging. This was the longest native periscope telephoto in the industry at the time, which allows for more creative composition and highlights the subject of shooting in the simplest way to achieve more tense portrait shooting.
