The OPPO Find X9 Pro Satellite Communication Edition officially went on sale today. This is the first domestically produced mobile phone in China to support eSIM, with the 16GB+1TB version priced at 6999 yuan.
The OPPO Find X9 Pro Satellite Communication Edition is the first in China to achieve “quad SIM dual standby,” featuring dual physical SIM card slots and supporting dual eSIMs.
It supports eSIM services from China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom, and users can switch between them freely.
Unlike traditional physical SIM cards, eSIMs are directly embedded in the device’s chip, enabling communication functions without the need to insert or replace a physical card like traditional SIM cards.
Currently, eSIM phones have just been opened up in China, and the policy is still somewhat conservative, requiring offline activation. However, it should become more convenient as it becomes more widespread.
The OPPO Find X9 Pro Satellite Communication Edition is also equipped with a mountain and sea communication enhancement chip, which supports Beidou satellite communication and can directly connect to the satellite for communication in emergency situations where there is no signal.
In terms of other configurations, the satellite communication version is consistent with the regular Find X9 Pro, featuring a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat screen on the front, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 flagship chip, a built-in 7500mAh battery, and support for 80W wired flash charging and 50W wireless flash charging.
It features a rear-facing 50MP main camera, a 200MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and supports ultrasonic fingerprint scanning and infrared remote control.
