OPPO Find X9 Ultra packs a teleconverter into a phone: unprecedented.

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra was officially unveiled this evening.

This phone represents a major breakthrough in the field of imaging, being the first to feature a Hasselblad 10x optical zoom telephoto lens, successfully embedding the previously bulky teleconverter module into a slim phone.

In fact, 10x telephoto lenses appeared on the mobile phone market as early as 2023. However, due to the limitations of the technology at the time, the sensor size was too small and the aperture was limited, resulting in less than ideal image quality. Subsequently, the industry attempted to introduce external teleconverter solutions, but these lost their portability due to their large size.

How to perfectly blend high-quality 10x telephoto zoom with a lightweight smartphone form factor? OPPO has set a new standard. The Find X9 Ultra redefines telephoto photography, maintaining flagship-level portability while ensuring top-notch image quality.

According to OPPO product manager Lu Chenghao, this imaging flagship, which has been in development for five years, features a comprehensive upgrade to every lens. It boasts a Hasselblad full-sensor five-camera optical system designed to push the physical limits of mobile imaging.

Thanks to the groundbreaking Hasselblad 10x optical zoom telephoto lens, this camera not only supports ultra-long-distance photography but also boasts 20x optical zoom capability. Whether gazing at a concert stage from afar, capturing imposing portraits while traveling, or photographing birds in flight outdoors, users can easily capture clear, stunning images.

In addition to its outstanding telephoto performance, the Find X9 Ultra also boasts industry-leading dual 200-megapixel lenses. The Hasselblad 200-megapixel main camera, paired with an F1.5 aperture, captures more light than even traditional 1-inch sensors, resulting in exceptional low-light performance.

The other Hasselblad telephoto lens features a massive 1/1.28-inch sensor with a 200-megapixel ultra-large sensor. Combined with an ultra-wide-angle lens that increases light intake by 56% and second-generation Danxia color reproduction technology, the new camera demonstrates exceptional optical capabilities across the entire focal length range.

This marks the first time in the mobile phone industry that 8K image quality has been used to fully cover the three major focal lengths. From wide-angle to super telephoto, the Find X9 Ultra delivers consistently high-standard image quality output, truly ushering in a professional-grade, all-around creative era for mobile phone photography.
