OPPO Find X9 uses self-developed spherical silicon-carbon material to achieve over 7000mAh battery

The OPPO Find X9 series has been officially scheduled and will be released at 19:00 on October 16.

In addition to the traditional imaging upgrade, the battery life has also been greatly improved, with the entire series having more than 7000mAh battery, which truly alleviates users’ battery life anxiety.

Zhou Yibao, head of the Find series, wrote in a post that space inside a phone is extremely scarce, and adding even 100mAh is extremely difficult. However, OPPO has upgraded the entire series to 1000+mAh at once, mainly due to the following two reasons:

First, the new generation of battery materials.

OPPO has developed a new generation of “spherical silicon-carbon material” with a more stable structure and higher energy density, which significantly improves the battery’s health and lifespan, with large capacity and long lifespan.

Second, the new generation of stacking technology.

OPPO has adopted a new four-sided placement technology, and changed the lens Deco from an “Oreo” shape to a rectangular layout on the upper left, which has brought an unprecedented improvement in stacking efficiency. It not only maintains a light and thin body, but also fits a camera module with greater optical performance, while also maximizing the battery capacity.

So this time, OPPO was able to upgrade the battery of the Find X9 standard version to 7025mAh and the Find X9 Pro version to 7500mAh, with an additional 1000+mAh for the entire series.

Zhou Yibao emphasized that, roughly speaking, the difference in battery life brought about by this 1000mAh battery is equivalent to the energy efficiency improvement of a platform chip manufacturer in a whole year of research and development. Perhaps from another perspective, the difference of 1000mAh is equivalent to the battery life experience of using the previous generation chip.
