OPPO joins the 10,000-yuan battery club! The OPPO A7 Pro Max arrives!

OPPO has officially announced the OPPO A7 Pro Max, a new member of its A series, and pre-orders are now open. As OPPO’s first phone equipped with a 10,000-ton-high-capacity battery, the new phone is positioned as a next-generation durable legend, seeking a new balance between battery life and a comfortable feel.

Battery life and performance

In terms of core configuration, the OPPO A7 Pro Max is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen5 processor and offers a 12GB memory version.

The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the 10000mAh single-cell battery, coupled with 80W wired fast charging. In a market where most flagship phones currently have a 5000-6000mAh capacity, this 10000mAh battery capacity is almost double that, meaning heavy users should be able to go two days on a single charge without any issues.

It is worth noting that OPPO chose a single-cell solution, which has advantages in terms of volume control and energy density compared to dual-cell stacking, and also lays the foundation for a thin and light body.

Design and feel

Many people worry that a 10,000mAh battery would make the phone bulky and heavy, but OPPO’s figures are quite restrained: the body is 8.47mm thick and weighs 226g. For reference, most mainstream flagship phones currently weigh between 200-220g. While the OPPO A7 Pro Max is slightly heavier, considering the doubled battery capacity, this level of weight control is quite impressive. The use of a plastic frame also contributes to weight reduction and lowers repair costs.

OPPO has not yet announced the specific release date and price of the A7 Pro Max, but it is expected to be officially unveiled this month. As OPPO’s first product to test the market for large batteries, its pricing strategy will directly affect consumer acceptance. For users who prioritize long battery life but don’t necessarily seek top-tier performance, this model is worth paying attention to.
