Poco M8 and Poco M8 Pro pricing and specifications revealed via early retailer listings

The Poco M8 is set to be officially launched on January 8. Ahead of the launch, the company has already started teasing the smartphone and has even revealed parts of its design. There is also a strong possibility that the Poco M8 Pro will be launched alongside the standard M8.

If you are curious about how much the new Poco phones might cost, Poco has not shared any official pricing details yet. Despite this, a Russian retailer has prematurely published listings for the upcoming smartphones, giving an early idea of their prices.

It is important to remember that pricing does not always translate directly from one currency to another, since taxes and import duties can vary greatly between countries. In Russia, the Poco M8 featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is reportedly listed at RUB 26,817, which is approximately $340, €289, or ₹30,500 when converted to other currencies.

On the other hand, the Poco M8 with 512GB of storage is listed at RUB 31,167, which is approximately $396, €336, or ₹35,500. The Poco M8 Pro with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage carries a price of RUB 36,242, equivalent to approximately $460, €391, or ₹41,300. Finally, the most powerful Poco M8 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage will cost RUB 38,793, which equals around $492, €418, or ₹44,200.

According to the listings, the Poco M8 comes with a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display that supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. Photography is handled by a dual rear camera setup including a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor while the front camera is 20MP. The phone also has a large 5,520 mAh battery with support for fast 45W wired charging.

According to the listings, the Poco M8 Pro features a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. On the rear, it has a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens, while the front camera is 32MP. Powering the device is a large 6,500 mAh battery, which supports extremely fast 100W wired charging.
