Qualcomm is radical! Snapdragon 8 Gen4 finalized: super core soars to 4.32GHz, much higher than A18 Pro

Digital Chat Station revealed that the frequency of the two super cores of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 was finally finalized at 4.32GHz, and the frequency of the six large cores was finally locked at 3.53GHz, which is a huge improvement over the previous generation’s 3.3GHz, and is higher than the 4.04GHz of Apple A18 Pro.

According to the running score data released by Geekbench, the single-core score of Snapdragon 8 Gen4 is 3236, and the multi-core score is 10049. In comparison, the single-core score of A18 Pro is 3018, and the multi-core score is 7751.

This time, whether it is single-core performance or multi-core performance, Snapdragon 8 Gen4 has surpassed Apple in all aspects, becoming the most powerful 5G chip in the mobile phone industry.

The Digital Chat Station stated that the current running score of Snapdragon 8 Gen4 is the result of an engineering machine. After being adjusted by the manufacturer, the running score of Snapdragon 8 Gen4 will reach a new high and crush Apple.

It is reported that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 uses the self-developed Oryon CPU for the first time, which is created by chip architecture design company Nuvia.

In 2021, Qualcomm acquired the chip architecture design company Nuvia, whose founder Gerard Williams III worked at Apple for nine years. During his time at Apple, he participated in the design of the M1 chip and A13 chip.

With the addition of the Nuvia team, the performance of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 has made a major breakthrough for the first time, dominating the mobile phone industry. In addition, Qualcomm has added a new GPU interpolation frame technology to it, which supports game super-resolution and super-frame concurrency, and can completely replace external independent graphics chips to achieve a gaming experience comparable to native high-frame.

This chip will be launched in October, and models such as Xiaomi 15, iQOO 13 and OnePlus 13 will all be launched in October.
